City Airport is Manchester’s original airport (also known as Barton Aerodrome), it is a thriving general aviation airport situated in the City of Salford, just 5 miles from Manchester City Centre. Their goal is to ensure that City Airport can be a sustainable and thriving business and also a valuable and well respected aviation and local community asset. The airport is also home to many small businesses ranging from aviation to telecoms, that are based either near the tower building or over at the heliport. This thriving business community is growing steadily with new tenants arriving all the time.
